The only way to experience the grandeur and wonder of Hearst Castle is to purchase tour tickets. Your tickets for daytime tours also include admission to the Hearst Castle Theater film “Hearst Castle – Building the Dream.” (For the Evening Tours, movie tickets can be purchased separately at a discounted price.)
Tickets may be purchased at the Visitor Center upon arrival depending on availability, but advance tour reservations are strongly recommended. Reserve online now or call Hearst Castle Reservations at 1-800-444-4445. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance.

Reservations can be made, changed, or canceled online at ReserveCalifornia.com or by calling 1-800-444-4445. Reserving tickets in advance is strongly recommended.
Changes to tour date or time: no additional charge if made in advance. A non-refundable registration fee per ticket will be charged for cancellations.

Hearst Castle Tour Hours
Hearst Castle Tour times and hours vary by season, with most scheduled from 9:00am. Last tour times of the day vary. Hearst Castle is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. To view available times, please check availability online, or call 1-800-444-4445.
If you reserve your tickets in advance, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your scheduled tour time to pick up tickets from the Ticket Office at the Visitor Center.

Distinguished Veteran Pass
Hearst Castle welcomes the Distinguished Veteran Pass for California residents. The Distinguished Veteran Pass is a lifetime pass and no fee is charged. This pass must be applied for in advance. To obtain more information on this pass and to download an application, please visit the California State Parks website.
