Museum Gift Shop
Everyone who visits Hearst Castle leaves with a new understanding of an era gone by. The majesty, craftsmanship and attention to detail that make Hearst Castle a place unlike any other are all but gone in today's world. There is, however, an opportunity to take a small piece of the Hearst Castle magic home with you. Visit the Museum Shop, and you'll find yourself surrounded by meticulously authenticated reproductions of actual architectural details, art pieces and furnishings that make Hearst Castle a true treasure.
Beautifully made reproductions can educate as well as provide enjoyment. The Museum Shop has been in operation at the Hearst Castle Visitor Center since 1995. The Castle's vast and diverse collection of fine and decorative arts provide the inspiration for the reproductions, adaptations and interpretations made available to visitors. Informative literature accompanies each purchase. In addition to items related to the collection at Hearst Castle, the Museum Shop features reproductions from renowned museums worldwide.
Select rugs, decorative accessories, silver, fabrics and furniture pieces from the San Simeon estate have been reproduced as the Hearst Castle Collection®. Some are available through the Museum Shop, others through commercial establishments.
All of the income derived from the sale of Museum Store items assists The Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation in fulfilling its mission to preserve and restore Hearst Castle and educate the public about its architectural, historical, and artistic significance.
